Dr. Barnett: Your Orthodontic Specialist

Dr. Elyssa is thrilled to be a part of the Busciglio Smiles team and looks forward to meeting you and your family at your next appointment. and raised in Tampa, Dr. Elyssa is proud to serve the community in which she grew up. After completing her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, she attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where she graduated at the top of her class.

Dr. Elyssa then continued her education at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, where she completed a General Practice Residency and practiced as a general dentist for several years. She then continued her education at Nova Southeastern University where she received her certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and a Master of Science (MS) in dentistry.

Dr. Elyssa is recognized as a board-certified orthodontist. This means she has voluntarily completed extensive continuing education to demonstrate that she has the knowledge base and skill to treat patients to the highest standard. Dr. Elyssa is truly committed to helping her patients receive the smile of their dreams.

When she is not at the office, Dr. Elyssa loves traveling and trying new restaurants, boating, scuba diving, and spending time with her family and friends.
